The best Chinese food I've found in Santa Clarita Valley. Recommend to me by a valley native, it just tastes great. My favorite has to be the Kung Pao Chicken. They actually make it spicy! And it's so good. The service is very friendly. The only issue is that they often have only one employee as waiter, host, busser and cashier at the same time, helping him only if it gets too busy...yikes.
In all honesty this place is my favorite restaurant I have ever been to. The food is absolutely amazing and the service is great. The place is clean and you're greeted quickly, seated quickly, and the food comes out quickly. Not to mention the prices are great. It's a little hole in the wall joint that is worth the visit. I highly recommend it.
With so many generic Chinese Food restaurants all over town...all over every town really, we found Mandarin Wong, albeit in a mostly non-descript atmosphere, to be among the better options in terms of the actual food!
They had plenty for vegetarians including "Lemon Tofu" which we hadn't had any kind of version of since before we were vegetarians. It tasted just like we remembered, albeit with tofu instead of chicken or beef.
We also had veggie egg rolls (good), and Fried Rice as an upgrade to the rice that came with the food we ordered. (It's a basic fried rice with no vegetables in it but it tasted good.)
My wife was happy with her "Buddha's Feast" which came with a generous amount of tofu and vegetables, and the egg flower soup she ordered was swimming with a generous amount of eggs and tasted good too.
We appreciate a place that has many vegetarian options and thought, among the vast array of Chinese Food options nearby or anywhere, Mandarin Wong is a good go-to for basic Chinese food offerings that we would happily try again.
Yummy food. Been going there for years! I usually order out and usually my food is ready on time. Sometimes it's very busy but the are pretty accurate on when they say it will be ready
Best place ever!! They have the BEST chicken corn soup in the WHOLE world! There service is also amazing!! They are so nice and kind. Good Ambiance too! It's amazing going there! Eating there tonight
This restaurant has been around forever, and for good reason.
Pretty authentic Chinese restaurant in SCV. In a city full of chain restaurants, Mandarin Wong stands apart. This family owned restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes for reasonable prices. We ordered take out from here, and got the pan fried noodles, black bean chicken, lo mein, and orange chicken. All the dishes were delicious. My kids love orange chicken, but i didnt realize their orange chicken had chillis in it. Still tolerable, but a surprise. The restaurant itself is pretty outdated, and could definitely use a remodel. Service was fast and everyone was kind. Skip the chains, eat here instead.
